As a result of global measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus and its subsequent impact on operations in factories in the automobile industry, it is necessary that we respond and find the optimal solution for our company as well.
Therefore, after a thorough analysis of orders, inventories and work-in-progress, the company’s management has decided to interrupt production processes in most of its facilities for a period of two weeks.
Designated operations are to be shut down as of Friday, 27 March 2020, at 6:00 p.m. (or 10:00 p.m., depending on the shift schedule) until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 14 April 2020.
Only operations in production processes where there has been no significant drop in orders, as well as necessary support functions such as quality management, maintenance and logistics, will continue to operate.
Employees who are forced to take leave due to the interruption of operations will be paid compensation equal to 70 percent of their average hourly earnings.
According to the Senior Administration Division Manager, Radim Spisar, the current situation has no impact on the payment of annual bonuses for the fiscal year 2019. This annual bonus will be paid to employees together with their March salaries (to be paid in April).
Please, respect all emergency measures and protect yourself and those around you!
